Ralph G. Turgeon, 85
June 25, 1938 – February 28, 2024
Salem- Ralph George Turgeon, 85, of Salem entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He was the husband of Louise M. (Pelletier) Turgeon.
Born in Salem, Ralph was the son of the late Leo J. and Rita G. (Morin) Turgeon. Ralph was a graduate of St. Mary's Boys High School in Lynn, Merrimack College in North Andover, and received his Master's Degree from Salem State University in Salem. He taught Chemistry at Salem High School for most of his career and also taught at Lynn Classical High School, as well as Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield. An avid Red Sox fan, Ralph proudly worked as an usher at Fenway Park for twelve years upon his retirement.
Surviving him, along with his loving wife of 61 years, Louise M. (Pelletier) Turgeon of Salem, are his daughters, Renee Dionne and her husband John of Salem, Patrice Turgeon-Lanes and her husband Mark of Peabody, and Nicole Turgeon-Iwakoshi, MD and her husband Neal of Austin, TX, his grandchildren, Claudia and Thomas Lanes, Colette and Blaise Iwakoshi, his brother Laurent "Pete" Turgeon and his wife Barbara of Clayton, NC, a brother-in-law Donald Dupuis of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his sisters, Dianne Donahue and Doris Dupuis and brother-in-law John Donahue.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, 292 Jefferson Ave. Salem on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. followed by burial in Greenlawn Cemetery Salem.
