Marcelle A. Gauthier, 82

Lynn- Marcelle A. Gauthier, 82, of Beverly, passed away Wednesday morning, February 21, 2024 at Phillips Manor Nursing Home in Lynn.
Born in Salem, Marcelle was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Beaupre) Deschenes. Marcelle was a graduate of the former Ste. Joseph Academie in Salem and attended St. Joseph Nursing School in Lowell. Although she always worked outside the home, no job was more important to her than raising her family. Marcelle enjoyed shopping and had an eye for fashion. She also loved cooking for her family and friends which she continued to do until the last months of her life.
She is survived by her loving son Kevin Gauthier and his wife Lisa of Lynn, her granddaughters, Alison Gauthier and Angelina Gauthier of Lynn; her sisters, Anne Marie Locke and her husband Edward of Weymouth, and Claire LeBlanc and her husband Robert of Naples, FL; a sister-in-law Muriel Vousboukis of Swampscott; her longtime friend Sandra Kolodziej; several nieces and nephews; and many friends from Dunham Castle. Marcelle was predeceased by her daughter Laurie Gauthier, and her two brothers Raymond Deschenes and Andre Deschenes and his wife June.
