Marcella E. “Marcy” Angelopolus, 72, of Salem, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Salem Hospital from complications of Covid-19 Pneumonia.
Born and raised in Salem, Marcy was the daughter of the late Theresa and Gregory Angelopolus of Salem. In her younger years she worked in the dietary department of Salem Hospital and for Salem's Old Fashioned Candies. Prior to her retirement she worked for Dodge St. Laundry.
Marcy had a passion for country music, reading, walking in the snow and ice skating, her many trips to Foxwoods Casino and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa (Angelopolus) and her husband Sean Maddock of Dover, NH, a grandson, Nicholas G. DeMille of Dover, NH, a sister Evangeline and her husband Richard Clement of Salem, and many nieces and nephews. Marcy was predeceased by her brothers, Gregory, Daniel, and Dennis Angelopolus.
