Salem- Lucille E. (Labrecque) Hodgdon, 88, of Salem, passed away December 9, 2023. She was the wife of the late Roger A. Hodgdon.
Born in Salem, Lucille was the daughter of the late Leopold and Eva (Parquette) Labrecque. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy of 1954 and worked for many years as a bookkeeper for local auto dealerships including Witch City Auto, Gauthier Motors, and Kelly Automotive.
Lucille is survived by her brother and sisters, Claire Wilson of Salem with whom Lucille lived, Robert Labrecque of Peabody, Pearl White and her husband David of Lynn, and Donna Maki of Peabody; a sister-in-law, Mona Labrecque; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Evelyn and Diane Labrecque and her brother Raymond Labrecque, a sister-in-law Eileen Labrecque and her niece Jaime Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation period on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 9 – 10 a.m. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, North St. Salem/Peabody line. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Salem.
