Maureen Frances Raymond, 81, of Englewood, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Maureen was born in Peabody, Massachusetts, on January 15, 1942, to the late Dr. Francis Harrigan and Josephine Szetela Harrigan.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) L. Raymond; three children, Robert, Diana, and Wendy and their spouses; four grandchildren, Kendall, Samantha, Andersen, and Peirce; one great grandson, Deacon; two brothers, John (Jack) Harrigan, Peter Harrigan, and several other family and friends.
Maureen received her education at St. Mary School in Salem, MA, Salem High School also in Salem, MA, and Perry Normal School in Boston, MA. She taught kindergarten and first grade in the Salem, MA, school system in her early career. She was the owner and professional interior designer of Raymond Interiors in Princeton, NJ for over 30 years. She was also the owner of Princeton Natural Therapeutics in New Jersey for over 10 Years. After retiring, Maureen and her husband moved down to Englewood, FL, where they have been residents and members of the Boca Royale Golf and Country Club since 2005. In their spare time, they enjoyed traveling, but most of all loved spending time with their family and friends.
She will be dearly missed, but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Church, North St Salem, MA on the Salem / Peabody line on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
