Edward W. Litwin, 80

Salem- Edward W. Litwin, 80, of Salem passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 in the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers. He was the loving husband of Dorothy Litwin of Salem, MA.
Born in Peabody, Ed was the son of the late Walter F. And Helen F. (Zielinski) Litwin. Edward worked for many years as a machinist in electronics and semi conductors and later in life started a second career before retiring with the City of Salem. He was a Life Member Knights of Columbus, in Peabody, a Life Member of Danvers Fish and Game Club, and was a longtime active member at the former Bill Flynn's Lakeview Golf Course in Wenham.
Along with his wife Dorothy (Gagnon) Litwin of Salem, Ed is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Henderson of Haverhill, MA, and Edward Litwin, Jr. of South Carolina, two grandchildren, Paul Valadao of Beverly, MA, and Ella Scanzani-Litwin of South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews along with his lifelong golfing friend Ron Almeida. Ed was the brother of the late Carolyn Doran and the late Thomas Litwin.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. and to meet at St. Mary's Cemetery, North Street, Salem, Friday at 10:45 a.m. for a graveside service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Care Dimensions Kaplan House 75 Sylvan St. B-102 Danvers, MA 01923.
