Theresa G. (Nadeau) Bernier, 97

October 2, 2023 Eric Berube

Theresa G. (Nadeau) Bernier, 97

March 6, 1926 - September 29, 2023

Revere- Theresa G. (Nadeau) Bernier, a radiant soul who brought warmth, love, and laughter to all who knew her, passed away at the age of 97, in the comfort of her Revere home surrounded by loved ones on Friday evening, September 29, 2023. She was born on March 6, 1926, in Salem, MA, to the late John and Bertha (Audet) Nadeau. Theresa was the cherished wife of the late Edward J. Bernier.

Throughout her remarkable journey, Theresa wore many hats. She was a telephone operator, and a skilled answering service agent, and even assisted her late husband in managing his gas station Cabot Auto Service & Supply, in Beverly. But her most important role was that of a dedicated mother, raising her three wonderful daughters.

Theresa had a heart brimming with creativity, and she shared her artistic talents with boundless enthusiasm. She had a passion for arts and crafts, ceramics, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and oil painting. Her creations were not just works of art; they were tokens of love that she generously gifted to friends and family.

Theresa's love and legacy live on through her loving daughters: Lucille Fournier of Salem, Georgette Glover Bernier and her husband Norman of Estero, Florida, and Susan Lamborghini of Revere. Her sparkle also continues through her cherished grandchildren, Christine Provencher, Diane Benyue, Edward Taché , Sandra Taché , Ronald Taché , and Michelle Taché , and she leaves behind a trail of ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Theresa's life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at St. Anne’s Church, at 292 Jefferson Ave, Salem, at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B 102, Danvers, MA honor of Theresa's legacy. Theresa's warm smile, loving spirit, and fun-loving nature will be missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
