Irma M. Guerrette, 82
June 21 1939 – February 23rd 2022
Peabody – Irma Guerrette, 82, of Peabody, passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2022 in the company of her family.
Born in Sainte Anne, New Brunswick Canada, Irma was the daughter of late Conde and Yvonne (Bellefleur) Martin. Irma was a woman of many skills. She retired from Varian Associates in Beverly Ma as Quality Control Inspector. Irma was a lifelong seamstress and ran her own sewing business for years following her retirement. She made amazing outfits from Wedding gowns to Christening outfits and anything in between. Her motto was, “No job too small, I do them ALL” Irma also owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast located in New Brunswick CA where she loved to meet people from all walks of life.
Being the oldest of 12 children, she devoted herself to her siblings and her family. She was a wonderful Mom, memere, and mem(grand)memere and will sadly be missed by all her family and friends.
Irma is survived by her children; Doris L’Abbe and her husband Mark of Danvers, Ma, Jackie McGlone and her husband Bob of Peabody, Ma, and Marcel Guerrette and his wife Qiqing Tang of North Reading, Ma; her grandchildren; Steven L’Abbe, Kristen White, Lauren McGlone, Jasmine Yelle, Jacob Guerrette, Dean Guerrette, Sonya Guerrette; her great-grandchildren, Justin L’Abbe, Lucas L’Abbe, Aubrey White; her siblings; Geraldine Martin, Rina Martin, Gisèle Soucy, Mariette Demers, Doreen Martin, Isabelle Martin DeVries, and many nieces and nephews.
Irma was predeceased by her son, Larry Guerrette Jr., a grandson, Brad L’Abbe, and her siblings; Robert Martin, Armand Martin, and Marcel Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody for a graveside service on March 3rd, at 11:00AM.
