Heather J. Theriault, 58

Salem - Heather Jane (Newbury) Theriault, 58, of Salem, passed away suddenly, Friday, December 24, 2021.
Born in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England, Heather was the daughter of Peter John and Mary Jane (Hayes) Newbury. A long time resident of Salem and graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, Heather also graduated from Cosmetology school at the Essex Agricultural School. Heather worked for many years as a hairdresser as well as a server at many restaurants, most recently for Mission On the Bay, in Swampscott MA.
Heather was a dear friend and touched so many lives. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at the beach, camp, and loved showing off her beautiful yard and flowers. Heather was a breast cancer survivor and showed immense strength over the past few years.
Surviving her, along with her mother Mary Newbury of Kingston, NH, are her husband of 36 years Robert “Bob” Theriault and best friend and daughter Carly Theriault of Salem, MA; sisters Julie Hill of Peabody, MA and Johanna Newbury of Plaistow, NH; mother-in-law Natalie (Luca) Theriault of Salem, MA; and several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Heather was predeceased by her father, Peter J. Newbury.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St, Salem, MA on Sunday, January 2, 2021 from 1-4 pm for visiting hours. A private funeral service will be held at a later date for the immediate family. Masks are required during both services.
