Salem- Jane M. Piotrowicz, 75 of Salem, passed away Friday morning, January 8, 2021 in the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody. She was the loving wife of Michael Piotrowicz of Salem.
Born in Gloucester, MA, Jane was the daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Halverson) Piscitello. Jane was a graduate of Gloucester High School and has lived in Salem for most of her life raising her family. Jane most recently worked for years at Salem Old Fashioned Candies on Canal St. Salem.
Jane thoroughly enjoyed hosting the holidays for her family and friends and loved cooking holiday dinners. She loved crafts especially needlepoint and she was an avid reader.
Surviving Jane, in addition to her husband Michael Piotrowicz of Salem, are her children, Jennifer Piotrowicz of Salem, and Teddy Piotrowicz and his wife Amanda Hernandez of North Andover; and her honorary daughter, Carol Skelley and her family. Jane is also survived by her grandchildren Sadie Jane, Aaron Michael, and Zachary Rafael; her siblings, Peter Piscitello of Florida, Fay Jones of Colorado, and a sister-in-law Mary Ann Piotrowicz and nieces and nephews.
