Loretta S. Ramsdell, 74

Essex- Loretta Shirley (Martell) Ramsdell, 74 of Essex, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon October 12, 2020.
Born in Houlton, ME, Loretta was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Hanson) Martell. Loretta was a graduate of Gloucester High School and worked many years at Ipswich Shellfish in Ipswich.
Surviving Loretta are her three sons, Michael Ramsdell and his wife Jennifer of Londonderry, NH, James Ramsdell of Gloucester, and John Ramsdell and his wife Tracey of Atkinson, NH; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her brother, Richard Martell of Essex. Loretta was predeceased by her former husband Raymond Ramsdell, II.
