Salem- Wayne L. Culipher, 66, of Danvers, formerly of Salem, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Danvers, Wednesday, October 14, 2020.

Born in Lynn, MA, Wayne was the son of the late Blanche (Boyer) and James M. Culipher. Wayne was a graduate of Salem High School before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force where he served during the Vietnam War. Returning home, Wayne worked for many years for the City of Salem DPW. Wayne was a lifelong resident of Salem. He was extremely proud to be a Mason and was a member of the Salem Masonic Lodge. He also loved riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving him are his sisters, Wenda White and her husband Sean of Aiken, SC, and Susan Peterson and her husband Al of Port Orange, FL; his brother, Stuart Culipher of Danvers, MA; and his nieces and nephews; Kylie, Katie, Huell, Hannah, and Ariana whom he loved as if they were his own children. Wayne's favorite thing to do was to bring his nieces and nephews to the Salem Willows to play in the arcade. Along with his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his sister, Diane Culipher.

A celebration of Wayne's life with military honors will be held at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Wayne's name to www.AmericanBrainFoundation.org. To send a condolence to the family please comment below.
