Kenneth E. Piotrowski, 69
August 5, 1949 - February 23, 2019
Salem - Kenneth Earl Piotrowski, 69, of Salem, passed away Saturday evening, Feb 23, 2019 at the Brigham Health and Rehab in Newburyport.
Born in Salem the son of the late Sigmund T. and Lucille A. (Camire) Piotrowski, Kenneth lived in Salem for most of his life. A U.S. Army Veteran, Kenneth served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. Kenneth was a chef and worked for a number of restaurants in the Salem area. He was also a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Kenneth was an avid reader and became quite a bookworm in his later life.
He is survived by his sons, Scott Piotrowski and his fiancee Dori Johnson of Lynn, and Daniel Piotrowski and his fiancee Amy Eliuk of Salem; his grandchildren, Arek and Mickaylah "Sami" Eliuk; and his great-grandchildren A.J. and Ayden; his brothers, John Piotrowski and his wife Gloria of Salem, Ronald Piotrowski of CA; his sisters, Lorraine St. John and her husband Frank of CT, and Lucy Hensinger of Fla; and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was the brother of the late Sylvia Piotrowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem on Friday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will be held during this time. Burial with military honors will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Orne St. Salem, MA the following Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 292 Lafayette St. Salem.
