Salem- Dorothy F. (LeBoeuf) Thomas, 81, of Salem, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 29, 2019. She was the loving wife of William G. Thomas of Salem.
Born in Salem, MA, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Lena (Cote) LeBoeuf. Dorothy was the youngest of five girls in her family. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed knitting and doing crosswords and going shopping with her daughter. Dorothy was a good cook and loved to take care of her family and home.
Surviving her, along with her husband of 63 years, William G. Thomas of Salem, are her sons, Greg Thomas of Salem, and Jon Thomas and his wife Mary Jane of Beverly; her daughter Jane Thomas of Salem; six grandchildren, Heather, April, Billy, Kimberly and her husband James, Derek, and Richard; a great-grandson Jack; a step-great-grandson Oliver; a sister, Gertrude Read of Plaistow, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, Saturday, February 2 from 2-5 p.m. Her funeral service and burial will be at a later date.
