Salem- Robert Warren Bixby, 79, of Salem, passed away in the company of his family, Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers. He was the loving husband of Donna J. (Carroll) Bixby of Salem.
Born in Beverly, the son of the late Charles and Esther (Bradley) Bixby, Robert was raised and educated in Lowell, MA before he joined the United States Navy. Robert proudly served aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Lexington. Returning home, Robert worked a long career in construction.
Surviving Robert are his wife, Donna J. (Carroll) Bixby of Salem, MA; children, Matthew Bixby of Salem, MA, Scott Bixby of Beverly, MA, Robert Donahue of Tampa, FLA, Robin Kellow of Danvers, MA, Jennifer Quintel of Tampa, FLA, and Rachel Quintel of Newburyport, MA; 13 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
