Virginia L. Castonguay, 80

Salem- Virginia L. (Nimblett) Castonguay, 80, of Peabody, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019 at the Rosewood Nursing Home, Peabody. She was the wife of the late Roger Castonguay.
Born in Peabody the daughter of the late James and Marion (Brown) Nimblett, Virginia raised her loving family while also working for a time at the former Keefe's Restaurant as well as with Major Magleashe's in Salem.
Virginia was the mother of Cynthia McCullough, Corey McCullough, Pamela McCullough, Mark Castonguay, and James McCullough; grandmother of 17 including having a special bond with her granddaughter, Michelle McCullough; she was also survived by many great-grandchildren, a great-great granddaughter, and her sister, Marjorie Scott. Virginia had an infectious smile and an amazing sense of humor.
Along with her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her children, Kathy McCullough, Brandon Castonguay, and Daniel McCullough, a grandson, Brandon Castonguay, and her five brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, MA on Monday, December 23 from 6 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St. B-102 Danvers MA 01923.
