Harvey C. Levesque, Jr, 72, of Salem, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at his home. Harvey was the son of the late Harvey, Sr. and Mary J. (Hamel) Levesque.
Born in Salem, Harvey was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Salem before he served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at the Salem Power Plant as a control installer. Harvey was an avid boater and a lifetime member of Palmer's Cove Yacht Club. Living most of his life in Salem, Harvey lived for a time in Puerto Rico until recently when he moved back to Salem.
He is survived by a granddaughter, Theresa (Sanchez) Stegner and her husband Randy of Salem; two brothers Robert Levesque and his wife Sandra of FLA, and Albert 'Buster' Levesque and his wife Mary of Salem, MA; a sister Evelyn Howell and her husband Richard of FLA; and his former wife Diana Levesque.
Harvey was predeceased by his two children; the late Tommy Levesque and the late Dawn Sanchez-Levesque; and his grandson Michael Thomas Sanchez.
