Josephine M. (Guillerme) Gagnon, 91

Salem-- Josephine M. (Guillerme) Gagnon, 91, of Salem, passed away Sept. 3, 2016 in Salem. She was the wife of the late Charles "Buddy" Gagnon.

Born in Gourin, France, Josephine came to America as a young woman through Ellis Island. She worked for many years at the General Glover in Swampscott before starting her career as a Real Estate Broker with Century 21 Avant Garde in Salem and also William D. Little Reality in Salem. Josephine was a longtime parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, Salem.

She is survived by one son, Nelson Gagnon and his wife Allison of Hilo, HI; a daughter, Sandra Dailey and her husband Glen of Salem, MA; three grandsons, Jason, Matthew and Derek Gagnon; a great-grandson, Noah Dailey; brothers and sisters-in-law Edward and Linda Gagnon, Pauline Richard, and Claudette and Bradford Kluge; and many nieces and nephews. Josephine was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Helen Gagnon, Norman and Joanne Labrecque, and Paul Richard.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, Sept 13 from 4-7 pm in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd. Salem at 11 am. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
