Beverly- Theresa A. LeBlanc, 96, passed away August 24, 2026 at the Herrick House in Beverly, MA. She was the beloved wife of 70 years to Norman H. LeBlanc. Theresa was born in Danvers, MA to the late Joseph St. Laurent and Louise Marie (Poussard) (St. Laurent) Dallaire. She and her husband Norman raised their family in Marblehead and enjoyed over 70 years of boating out of the Palmer’s Cove Yacht Club and spent many summers cruising the New England coast with family and friends
Theresa & Norman were high school sweethearts, learning to sail aboard the first Sea Pal, a 14’ sailboat. She went to Salem Teachers College where she was in the Nevele’s, a group of women who maintained friendships and gathered well into their 80’s. She had a great sense of humor and was a bit of a prankster. The “Monday night card club” was more laughter than cards and the only time we had junk food in the house. She loved her family, faith and friends. While she was the original at home mother, she later worked in an oral surgeon’s office. After retirement, she and Norman particularly enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren.
Theresa is survived by her children, Denise and Bob Watts of Fairfield, VA, Kathy and Peter Fabiszewski of Lynnfield, MA, Patrice and Roger Banks of Jackson, WY, Steven and Kim LeBlanc of Lexington, VA, Renee and Russ Austin of Salem, MA, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, a Brother, Joseph St. Laurent of Worcester, MA, and a daughter-in-law Lee LeBlanc of Lynn, Sister in Laws, Margaret Leblanc of Salem, Lois LeBlanc of Danvers, Lucille Pooler of Brewster, MA, and many nieces, nephews, and boating friends.
Along with her husband Norman, Theresa was predeceased by her son, Mark LeBlanc & sister Rita Reale of Newport Richie, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd. Salem on Tuesday, September 1 at 11 a.m. followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery Salem. Visiting Hours will be held Monday, August 31, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Theresa’s name to the Herrick House, Beverly, MA or a charity of your choice.
