Richard Paul Paquin, 72

Richard Paul Paquin, 72, of Newfield, New York, passed away Thursday evening, July 9th, 2026 in Sayre, PA following a recent cancer diagnosis.
Born in Salem MA, Richard was the son of the late Robert Paquin and Lillian (Dube) Paquin. Rich worked in the General Electric jet propulsion division in Lynn, MA for years designing technical illustrations for projects like the F-117 and the Abrams tank. He left GE to follow his main passion which was his art. He was a painter, a sculptor, a craftsman, and a game inventor. Richard lived in many parts of the country during his life including Salem and the North Shore of Massachusetts, California, and New York.
Rich is survived by his sister, Priscilla Berube of Salem, his brothers, Edgar Paquin and his wife Joan of Peabody, and Daniel Paquin and his wife Roberta of Easley, S.C., and many nieces and nephews and friends. Richard was predeceased by his sister Theresa Paquin, and his brother-in-law Thomas Berube.
Funeral services were privately held and his cremated remains were scattered at sea.
