Linda Maricela Chavez, 47
November 20, 1977 – April 13, 2025
Salem- Linda Maricela Chavez, 47, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Salem hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Linda was the daughter of Jesus and Rosa (Fernandez) Chavez.
Linda was a graduate of Rutgers University and worked for many years as a nurse. She had a big heart which could be seen from her rescuing of animals and supporting her children and her Godchild in their many activities. She was a longtime supportive member of her sorority Sigma Lambda Gamma as well.
Along with her parents Jesus and Rosa Chavez, Linda is survived by her loving children, Ariana and Gabriel of Lynn, and her brothers, Jesus Chavez of Lynn and Nelson Chavez of Lynn
Relatives and friends are invited to her visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, on Friday morning from 9-11 am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. To send a condolence to the family please comment below. Comments will not immediately appear online.
