John F. "Jack" Drinkwater, 74
March 4, 1951 – March 13, 2025
Salem- John F. "Jack" Drinkwater, Jr., of Salem, passed away Thursday morning, March 13, 2025 in Watertown, MA following a lengthy illness.
Born in Beverly Farms, MA, Jack was the son of the late John, Sr. And Thelma (Blanchard) Drinkwater. He was a graduate of Beverly High School and lived in Beverly and Salem most of his life.
Jack was a longtime postal worker and letter carrier who dedicated 30 years of his life to serving the Salem Community building lasting connections through his work. Jack loved sports and particularly loved to fish and go waterskiing and snowboarding and he enjoyed watching Nascar.
Surviving him are his children, Julia Atkins and her husband Michael, Tifany Pugliese and her wife Sasha, Megan Drinkwater and her husband Chris Keenan; and three grandchildren. Along with his parents, Jack was predeceased by his brother Thomas "Beanie" Drinkwater.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, MA on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jack’s name to Dana Farber Jimmy Fund or to The Dementia Society of America.
