Georgetown – David Kapnis, 71, passed away October 26, 2024 and Joanne (Jenkins) Kapnis, 71, passed away October 25, 2025.
David was born in Salem the son of the late Dennis Kapnis and Mary (Celentano) Kapnis of Beverly. He was a graduate of Salem High School. David worked as a general contractor in residential construction for many years, building a respected career in his trade.
Joanne was born in Salem, the daughter of the late George Jenkins and Theresa Jenkins. She was a graduate of Salem High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper.
David and Joanne were long time avid boaters and they shared their passion for the water with their son, Daniel Kapnis of Byfield, MA who continues the tradition.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St., Salem.
