Jane M. Barrett, 75

Danvers- Jane M. Barrett, 75, of Danvers, passed at her home in the company of her family, Monday afternoon, December 19, 2022. She was the wife of Paul Barrett of Danvers.
Born in Salem, Jane was the daughter of the late Warren and Ruth (Rowe) Petit. Jane was educated at the Annhurst College, and later Salem State College. She was the Aquatics Director at the Salem YMCA before she became an educator teaching at Salem High School for many years before her retirement. Jane and her husband loved to travel. They spent many summer weekends for years at their place in York Beach, Maine.
Along with her loving husband Paul Barrett of Danvers, Jane is survived by her children, Jeffrey Barrett of Danvers, Jennifer Barrett of Salem, and Jonathan Barrett and Brenda Galante of Rowley; her four grandchildren, Maximus DiFronzo, Quinn, and Ella, and Chloe Galante-Barrett; her siblings, Joanne Calver and her husband William of CT, June Hill and her husband Peter of CT, James Petit of Falmouth, MA, and Jay Petit of CT; her brothers-in-law Frank Barrett of Peabody, and Ronald Barrett and his wife Kathleen of South Carolina, and many nieces and nephews. Jane also leaves her dear friends Lee, Beth, Joyce, Bonnie, Kathy, Ellen, Rose and Bruce M.
