Karen M. Spilman Mealey, 56

Danvers-- Karen M. Spilman Mealey, 56, of Middleton, passed away in the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers in the company of her loving family and friends.
Born in Saugus, MA, Karen was the daughter of Dianne (Granville) Spilman and the late James Spilman. Karen most recently worked for Danvers Industrial Packaging in Danvers.
Along with her mother, Dianne, Karen is survived by her husband, James Mealey of Middleton; a son, Nicholas Carrion of Salem; two grandchildren, Nicholas Carrion, Jr, and Nadia Carrion; her brothers and sisters, Michael Graville of Lynn, Donna Spilman Mahar and her husband Dennis of Danvers, Kathy Spilman and her husband Cooper of N.H., John Spilman of Middleton, MA, and Dianne "Gidget" Spilman of Salem; her best friends, Stephanie Pappa and Renee Armstrong; and several nieces and nephews.
Karen was an avid Red Sox fan and Patriots fan and was loved by many friends and will be missed by all.
Karen was predeceased by her son A.J. Adam Carrion; and her brothers, James William Spilman, and James Robert Spilman, Jr.
