Edna (Maillet) Pelletier, 97

Salem- Edna Pelletier, 97, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Home. She was the wife of Arthur Pelletier of Salem.
Born in Moncton, N.B. Canada, Edna was the daughter of the late Dorite and Leone (Boucher) Maillet. Edna was active in her churches over her life in Canada and in Salem. She volunteered for the former St. Joseph Food Pantry and she loved to play bingo and knitting.
Surviving her are her daughters, Anna Charest and her husband Ronald of Salem, Lorraine and her husband Paul Doucet of Canada; seven grandchildren, Steven and Jimmy Albert, Keith and Tina Charest, Marc Doucet, Denise Northingham, and Peter Doucet; eight great-grandchildren; her sisters, Leona Dagle and Dalma Maillet; ; a brother George Millett, and several nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her first husband of 25 years who passed in 1967, Jimmy Cormier, and her second husband Arthur Pelletier; and her daughter Jeannette Albert.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral from the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, Monday at 8:30 followed by a funeral Mass at Ste. Anne Church Jefferson Ave. Salem at 10a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
