Lance Cabot Rochna, 61
September 13, 1962 - February 15, 2024
Lance Cabot Rochna, 61 of Salem, Ma. passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2024 after a brief illness.
Lance was pre-deceased by his parents Albin “Rock” and Jean-Marie Rochna, also of Salem, Ma. Lance was a graduate of Salem High School and retired after many years of employment at Morgan Memorial in Salem. He had many close and loving friends at the Rainbow Adult Day Care in Peabody as well. Lance was an incredibly humorous, gregarious fellow who had many friends. He was always quick with a joke, had an infectious smile and a personality that made him extremely likeable. He drew people naturally to him and over the course of his life affected a countless number of people with his positivity and love for life. He had a love of music, especially Madonna and had a crush on Xena, The Princess Warrior.
Lance lived with his roommate for over 40 years in his group home served by the Northeast Arc. He was always a positive role model to his roommate as well as to his housemates and touched the lives of many people in his time.
Lance is survived by his six siblings Kim Buttolph, Candis Bolden, Roxanne Rochna, Heidi Rochna, Leif Rochna and Rhett Rochna. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to recognize and thank all the invested staff, his roommate, housemates and friends he had at his group home. You all had such an incredible role and impact in our brother’s life.
