Lynn- Charles "Charlie" Pellerin, 95, of Lynn, passed away Thursday morning, December 15, 2022 at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA following a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Eva (Goguen) Pellerin.

Born in Boston, Charlie was the son of the late Edward J. And Hermine (Bourque) Pellerin. Charlie lived in Lynn for most of his life. A retired U.S. Army Veteran, Charles served his country honorably for more than twenty years through WWII, and Korea reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class. He later worked in Civil Service until his second retirement in 1985. Charlie was a deeply religious man and gave much of his time and energy to the Catholic Churches in Lynn and the surrounding area, specifically the former St. Jean Baptiste Church, Sacred Heart, and St. Mary Church in Lynn. Charles was a Secular Franciscan and a Eucharistic Minister for the church. He also worked for many years with the former St. Laurent Funeral Home in Lynn and the Berube & Sons Funeral Home of Salem.

Charles is survived by his children, Lisa Dunn and her husband Jeffrey of Danvers, Donna Pellerin of Wakefield, and Michael Pellerin and his wife Cheryl of Lynn, his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Matthew, and Noah Dunn, Michael and Amanda Pellerin, and Rickey Wetherwell, his great-grandchildren, and his three surviving brothers, John and Agnes Pellerin, George Pellerin, and Leo and Julia Pellerin. Along with his wife of fifty years, Mary Eva (Goguen) Pellerin, Charlie was predeceased by his son Richard Pellerin.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, 8 S. Common St. Lynn on Tuesday, December 20 at 10:30 am followed by a burial with military honors at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Unit at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, 200 Springs Rd. Bedford, MA 01730.
