Georgetown- Armand E. Claveau, Jr., 80, of Georgetown, formerly of Salem, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Masconomet Healthcare in Topsfield, MA. He was the husband of Linda (Drover) Claveau.
Born in Salem, Armand was the son of the late Armand, Sr and Corinne (Moreau) Claveau. Armand worked for Atlantic Extrusions in Swampscott, MA for fifteen years. He and his wife Linda enjoyed traveling together and they loved to go trail running. He also enjoyed working with the Audubon Society at Plum Island catching, and banding, and releasing migrating birds for research.
Armand is survived by his wife, Linda (Drover) Claveau of Georgetown, MA; his children Christine Jackowski and her husband Peter of Danvers, MA, and Jeannine Claveau and her wife Deanna Desimone of PA; four step-children, Jessen Fitzpatrick and his wife Andria Rapagnola of Boston, MA, Layce Alves and her husband Keith of Magnolia, MA, Leah Monagle and her husband Daniel of Reading, MA, and Tessa Callahan and her husband John of Wilmington, MA, twelve grandchildren, a brother, George Claveau and his wife Constance of Salem, MA, and a sister, Anne Marie Wright of Salem, MA. Armand was predeceased by his wife Nancy (Cloutier) Claveau, and his brother, Gerard Claveau.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, MA on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be private.
