Swampscott – Beverly J. Berkowitz, 72, of Swampscott, passed away Wednesday morning, May 12, 2021 at her home.
Born in Salem, MA, Beverly was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Dorothy M. (Robair) Berkowitz. Beverly was a graduate of Salem High School and lived in Salem for most of her life. She worked for many years in the North Shore area including owning her own trucking company. Most recently, Beverly worked for Hogan Regional in Danvers as a Direct Care Worker.
Surviving her is her life partner Daniel Conley; her sister, Ann Berkowitz of Florida; her uncle Joseph Robair and his wife Carol; her two daughters, Faith Russo and her fiance James Murray of Beverly, and Sari McIntosh Flynn and her husband Shawn Flynn of Peabody; her grandchildren, Daniel Russo and Justin Russo and James, Adam and Marcus; twelve great-grandchildren; and several cousins and nieces.
Beverly was predeceased by her son Allen Richard McIntosh, her brother Alfred Berkowitz, her grandson Philip Russo, and her former husbands Gerald Shea and Richard McIntosh.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, MA Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 1-4 pm. And to her graveside services on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody where we will meet at 10:45 for an 11 a.m. service.
