Salem- Theresa E. (Michaud) (Small) MacComisky, 94 of Peabody, passed away in the company of her loving family Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Kaplan Estates in Peabody. She was the wife of the late Donald MacComisky.
Born in Salem, Theresa was the daughter of the late Horace and Eva (Ayotte) Michaud. Theresa attended Salem public schools before moving to Waltham where she raised her children for many years with her former husband Charles F. Small. Theresa later lived on the North Shore with her husband the late Donald MacComisky. Together, they worked for the Peabody Essex Museum as security for the museum.
Surviving her are her daughters, Cynthia (Small) Noon of Beverly, and Linda (Small) Wood of Peabody, and her son, Stephen Small and his wife Paula Gonsalves Small of East Stroudsburg, PA; her grandchildren, Ryan Wood of CA, and Christian Wood of GA; and many nieces and nephews and friends in the Waltham and North Shore area.
Theresa along with her husband, Donald was predeceased by her siblings, Jeannette (Michaud) Martel, Henry Michaud, Rita (Michaud) Berube, Yvonne (Michaud) Claise, Arthur Michaud, and Florence (Michaud) Ouellette.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet inside the main gate of St. Mary Cemetery, North St Salem, Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:45 a.m. to proceed to a graveside service for 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Theresa's name to Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
