Joan E. Abracham, 81

Salem- Joan E. (Villa) Abracham, 81, of Salem, passed away in Danvers, April 28, 2020 following an illness of COVID-19.
Born in Boston, MA the daughter of the late Joseph T. and Eva M. (Meleo) Villa Joan grew up in Hyde Park and lived in Lynn for a time before moving to Salem over twenty years ago. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Louise's Ravioli in Revere and companies in the Lynn and Peabody area. Joan enjoyed traveling especially going to Alaska and Amish country, falls in North Conway with her friends or as a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a member of the North Shore Music Theater and loved attending musicals and shows there. She was an avid arts and crafter and a huge Red Sox fan. She loved Elvis and her cat Cleo. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Camping, going to Disney, watching her grandchildren play football on Sundays or performing theater at school brought her so much joy.
Joan is survived by her children Angela Harvey of Salem, Andrea White of Peabody, Debra Abracham of Dorchester, Cynthia Abracham of Lynn, Joseph Abracham of Lynn and Michael Abracham of San Francisco. Grandchildren Joshua and his wife Stacey, Zachary, Cameron, Kyle and Brandon Harvey. Travis and Justin White. Cynthia, Christine,and Corey Marston. Great-grandchildren Lucas, Justin, Emily and Logan. Her brother Ronald Villa and wife Deborah of Stoughton. Her sister-in-law Mary Villa of Weymouth as well as her neices and nephews. Joan is predeceased by her daughter, Christine Abracham and her brother Joseph Villa.
