Anita C. DeLorenzo, 96

Salem- Anita Corinne (Tremblay) DeLorenzo, 96 of Salem, passed Sunday evening Sept. 8, 2019 at Hunt Nursing in Danvers.
Born in Salem, Anita was the daughter of the late Edmond and Lea (LeBel) Tremblay. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School and Salem High School before attending North Shore Community College. Anita worked for many years with the Internal Revenue Service, Travelers Insurance and North Shore Community College.
Anita is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Ferrara and her husband John of Melrose, and Jacquelyn DeLorenzo of Beverly; five grandchildren, Christine DellaMonaca, John Ferrara and his wife Sarah, Meaghan Geary, Ashleigh Geary and her partner Joshua Green, and Brandon Geary; five great-grandchildren, Gregory DellaMonaca, Jason Ferrara, Melissa DellaMonaca, Jayden Green, Dominic Green; her sister, Gertrude Nielsen, and her brother, Bertrand Tremblay; and many nieces and nephews. Anita was predeceased by her daughters, Debra DeLorenzo-Geary, and Mary DeLorenzo, and her son, John DeLorenzo, and her siblings Dolores Pelletier, Roger Tremblay, and Armand Tremblay.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St Salem, MA on Thursday from 4-7 pm. Her funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 16 at 9 a.m. at St. Richard's Church, 90 Forrest St. Danvers, MA. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anita's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 . To send a condolence to the family please comment below..
