Salem- Adele A. Rozumek, 73, died peacefully on July 23, 2019 after a lengthy illness in the company of her family.
Born in Wildflecken, Germany, Adele was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Chmielewska) Bohaczyk. Adele immigrated to the US in December 1947 with her mother. She was a graduate of Salem High School Class of '63 and worked for many years in the hospitality industry.
Surviving Adele are her daughters, Cheryl Arriel and her husband Brian of Rochester, NH; and Tracy Lane of Salem, MA; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Arriel and her husband Andre Painchaud of Lynn, MA, Kristyn Brackett and her husband Colin of Naples, ME, Elyssa Diamond and her husband Thomas of Lynn, MA, Kevin Arriel and his wife Briana of Somersworth, NH; Mykel Lane of Holbrook, MA, Myles, Paige and Perry Lane all of Braintree, MA; a great-grandson Jakob Painchaud of Lynn, MA; a sister, Barbara Johnson and her husband Bud of Old Orchard Beach, ME; a niece Jessica Leuci and her husband Peter; a great-niece and great-nephew Samantha and Jack Leuci; and her former husband Richard Rozumek.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services for Adele at Berube Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem, MA on Tuesday, July 30, 4-7 pm.
