Christopher Ross, 35
Christopher Ross passed in his sleep on Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was surrounded by family that loved and cared for him deeply.
Christopher was born April 10, 1982 in Dorchester, Ma. We are saddened to announce that he had just celebrated his oldest son Kamron’s 14th birthday the day before. He was an amazing person; a hard worker that enjoyed masonry and construction work. He loved to build from the ground up as well as improving projects that previously existed with the intent of bringing them to their full potential. He recently worked on a project outside of the Salem Witch Museum, beside the commons. As always, he did an amazing job!
Although he had cancerous cells in his mouth, we were hopeful that it had been successfully treated. Christopher was the type of person who put all of his personal circumstances aside because to him, all that mattered was family and taking care of his.
Christopher leaves behind his girlfriend of 18 years, Kristine Reyes, his two boys Kamron Reyes (14), Logan Reyes (5), and his daughter Alexia Ross (16). He was beloved by all.
He is also leaving behind a family that that has always been by his side: Myra Reyes, Rosa Caban, Joseph Mandes, Jen Multner and Joseph’s children, Jada and Jojo. Chris was considered by them to be the fun and crazy uncle since their birth. He loved them as he loved his own. Chris also leaves behind: Tom and Elaine Citro, along with there daughter Erica. Tom and Elaine were an instrumental Mother and Father figure to him who raised him from a young age. He loved them dearly. He enjoyed recounting the long talks and check-ins they shared. Chris always made it a point to leave their conversation by saying, “I love you mom and u to pops.”
Christopher also leaves behind Sandy and Gerban Stwarts, who were considered to be an aunt and uncle to his children. They were always there and willing to help if and when he needed anything at all.
He also leaves behind his four brothers: Jessie Ross, Raymond Ross, Antwan Ross and his two sisters Alexzandria Ross, Adrain Ross, along with his mother Rosemarie Ross. He loved his brothers and sisters fiercely. It was important that he checked in to make sure they were ok. Words can not express how his loss has impacted our family and the people that were close to him.
His family was his priority. He always looked forward to trying something new with his children so that he could share in the experience with them. He always showed them how much fun it could be to take chances. He’d say, “Try it out and see if you enjoy it and are good at it and then put it in your pocket to use towards your future. You can be what ever you want to be in life. It’s your choice and I’ll make it my mission to see it through with you."
Our favorite thing to say was, "I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK ". I would say, "ALWAYS AND FOREVER”and he would reply, "FOREVER AND ALWAYS!!" You will always be in my thoughts; you will live on in my heart. Since the age of 16 you took my heart and you will forever be the one to keep it!!
Christopher made us promise to celebrate his life in the event that this day would come. So, we plan to honor that promise and will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
It will be located at 12 Crowninsheild Street, Peabody, Ma 01960 from 5pm - 7pm. Parking will be available in the visitors lot where you will be escorted to the area where it will be held. All are welcome to join us in saying their goodbyes and to celebrate his life as he wanted. If you would like to bring something to share, you are more than welcome to.
