Salem- Robert Allen Brinton, Sr., 80, of Lynn, passed away in the company of his family at NSMC, Salem following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Lois E. (Eaton) Brinton.
Born in Lynn, MA, Robert was the son of the late Walter and Mabel Brinton. Robert was a graduate of Lynn Schools before entering into the Army Reserves. After serving his country, Robert worked for many years as an oil burner technician.
Robert is survived by a son, Robert A. Brinton, Jr. or Nashua, NH, and his daughters; Cheryl Toohey and her wife Denise of Peabody, and Robin Farewell and her husband Bill of North Andover; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, and Rosemary.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St. Salem, MA, Thursday from 4-6pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 5:45pm. A guest book is available at www.BerubeFuneralHome.com.
